About Emilia

Born and raised in the Bay Area, fitness has always been a part of my life.  I began swimming as far back as I can remember, and I was dedicated to the sport until I left for college.  I played basketball and ran cross country in high school.  Hiking was always (and still is) a part of my weekly and summer adventures. 

Leaving for college, I was under the firm belief that I would become a lawyer.  I graduated with a degree in International Affairs and a certificate in Jewish Studies. Unfortunately, once I graduated, I realized my true passion had already taken me in a different direction. 

I turned to personal training when I decided I wanted to get into better shape and learn more about myself and my capabilities.  I have always been passionate about nutrition and healthy eating, especially growing up in a home where everything is made from scratch from fresh, organic ingredients. The combination of exercise and nutrition made me realize that this is exactly what I wanted to do with my life.  I have been a personal trainer for over three years and I have been fortunate enough to train in Jackson Hole, Austin, and Boulder.

 

My Approach

Living a healthy lifestyle is of the utmost importance to me and I hope to share my experience and insight with individuals who are looking to make exercise and fitness a lifetime pursuit and passion.  I believe in setting challenging but achievable goals that you will not only be able to accomplish, but will even exceed.  I work with individuals on a personal level, in order to create exercise routines that will fit your specific needs.  I take into consideration all factors of your exercise history and motivation, current or past medical conditions, injuries, and likes and dislikes about working out.
